Luxury Handmade Kitchen Cabinets and Furniture
At Titchmarsh & Goodwin, we create luxury kitchen furniture that is truly bespoke, meticulously built in our Suffolk workshop to suit your exact needs. Whether you require a beautifully designed kitchen island as a centerpiece or a fully fitted kitchen, our expert team ensures each piece is crafted with precision and care.
Our process starts with a personal consultation, guiding you from the initial concept to the finished product. With on-site visits, hand-drawn designs, and 3D CAD renders, you can visualize every detail before work begins, giving you complete confidence in the final result.
We offer flexibility in design, creating anything from a single kitchen island to a fully fitted kitchen with custom cabinetry, all tailored to your space. Our skilled artisans work across a range of styles, from classic period reproductions to modern shaker kitchens, meaning your kitchen will be completely unique and tailored to your aesthetic.
No two kitchens are the same—our designs are built around your exact specifications to create a one-of-a-kind space that blends functionality with timeless beauty. From concept to installation, Titchmarsh & Goodwin ensures every kitchen is as stunning as it is practical.
FAQ's
1. How long does the bespoke kitchen process take from initial consultation to installation?
Every Titchmarsh & Goodwin kitchen is meticulously designed and handcrafted to order. From the first design meeting to final installation, the process typically takes around 22 weeks, depending on the complexity and scale of your project. After the initial conversation with you, we aim to get the first drawings out to you within two weeks, and from there we can give you a firmer idea on the time it will take to complete your project. We take great care to ensure every detail is perfect, never rushed.
2. What materials do you use, and how do they impact the look and longevity of the kitchen?
We work with some of the finest solid timbers available — such as oak, walnut and elm but we are not limited to these species as we have a vast knowledge and database of timber merchants to call upon. We also work extensively with veneers that can give the most unique pattern and colour - anything is possible! The finishes we employ on our kitchens are hard wearing and durable. We are more than happy to employ some of our heritage and add patination and character to the final finish to give that “finished by hand” look, if that is desired.
3. Can the kitchen be fully tailored to suit my home and lifestyle?
Absolutely. Each Titchmarsh & Goodwin kitchen is entirely bespoke. From cabinetry design and storage solutions to colour finishes, worktops, and hardware, every element is tailored to your space and the way you live. We believe a kitchen should be as individual as the home it lives in.
4. How much does a bespoke kitchen cost?
As each kitchen is unique, pricing varies based on size, materials, and design complexity. As a guide, our kitchens start from £25 000 (excluding hardware, appliances and worksurfaces). During your design consultation, we provide transparent pricing and guide you through the options to suit your budget and vision.
5. Who installs the kitchen, and is installation included in the cost?
Yes — installation is included in the overall cost of your kitchen. Uniquely, your kitchen will be installed by the same expert cabinet maker who built it. This ensures that every element is fitted with the same level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and pride with which it was made.
