Surrey House

A kitchen for a family home in Surrey, designed and handmade in our Ipswich workshop.

Book-matched burr elm veneers run throughout, laid so the figure mirrors across each door and drawer front. Curved end runs, a bowed tall larder and a sweeping cornice soften the room, and the same curves carry through to the timber canopy over the range and the open corner shelving. The island is finished with shaped brackets beneath the overhang and columns turned by hand in our workshop, and reeded brass handles sit against the deep grain. Marble worktops complete a kitchen that is as practical as it is rich, down to the oak-lined spice drawer beside the range.
