Rosewood Cabinet
Reference No:
RL.15062/ER
Based on the styles of the Regency period (1811-1820), this expertly crafted rosewood cabinet makes a stately addition to any room.
With its pleated coverings and carved columns, this premium quality two-door cabinet faithfully captures the forms and aesthetics in vogue amongst early 19th century furniture makers. Notice the ornate tops, or capitals, of the two columns either side of the doors – a reference to the Corinthian style of classical architecture fashionable during the Regency period.
Rosewood is one of the most decorative of all hardwoods popular in cabinet manufacture. Notice the distinctive, vibrant dark veining which makes rosewood so appealing – expertly demonstrated by the craftsmanship of the panelling.
As with all of our furniture, this sturdy and spacious cabinet is handcrafted in the UK by our very own master furniture makers, keeping alive the heritage and expertise passed down through generations of bespoke cabinet makers so the products of the craft can be enjoyed in contemporary homes.
