Oak Dower Chest with Fall-Front

A classic Welsh marriage coffer known as a “dower” chest and made from the finest Oak. It features attractive ogee-shaped fielded panels above a pair of drawers. Traditionally, it was the duty of the bride’s family to provide a chest, to be used for storing the bride’s “dowery” linen.

We suggest a sparing application of a good quality natural beeswax polish from time to time.
Spillages should be removed promptly.
