This Mahogany and Rosewood crossbanded Commode or Sideboard is from a C18th design. The rich tones and figuration of Rosewood combine perfectly with Mahogany to great effect. The small breakfront and inlaid paterae motif together with shield shaped escutcheons balance the piece perfectly.
