An important credence (or livery cupboard) in Oak from the early 16th century. The left panel having a fine ducal crown above a portcullis and the right panel carved with the traditional English rose above fine strapwork. The centre panel with pierced decoration of delicate tracery. The construction throughout is with masons’ mitres.
